Sylvaner is in the middle of a reclamation project in Alsace and Germany. Long thought of as a simple white grape meant for liter bottles of table wine, talented winemakers have begun teasing out the nuance of this understated, yet exciting grape. This wine has a nose of minerals and light florals, plus a palate of tremendous depth and weight filled with ripe orchard fruit and a touch of savory minerality.
