Tasting Notes
While we all love rosé for its ease, it's straightforward deliciousness, and its reminders of warmer days, few rosés are all that thrilling. The Rouge Bleu Dentelle though, is different. Opening with an enticing nose of fresh strawberries, and a kiss of strawberry jam, it also has a mineral edge that keeps things interesting. On the palate, the wine presents spectacular fruit weight right on entry, with a long, fresh finish, and just a kiss of seabreeze.
Pairing Suggestion
While a rosé of this variety will always be a pleasure to drink on its own, the Dentelle offers enough verve and complexity to match all sorts of interesting dishes. If you'd like to go provençal with it, a classic Bouillabaise with plenty of rouille will be extraordinary, or a ratatouille if you'd like to get your veggies in. It will do well with raw seafood dishes like tuna crudo and sashimi, as well.
