Viognier is loved for its brilliant floral bouquet, and its waxy full-bodied richness (usually atrributed to higher alcohol levels), but this wine from the coast of South Africa is a different kind of Viognier. With those same yellow and white flowers on the nose, the palate has lots of acidity and freshness, with a bit of the same body of the classics from France.

Floral wines can be difficult to pair, but this wine will enhance a number of dishes. Either go complimentary and select it beside a zesty salad with lots of fresh herbs, or pair with a simply cooked fish in a light beurre blanc for an exciting contrast.
