Rich on the nose with a touch of sweet cream and a whiff of rocky minerality, the palate is long and dense with great back-end acidity. Chardonnays of this style are perfectly suited for poultry. Roast or grilled chicken or duck confit will be superb, but also fall vegetables like roasted squash with pesto or glazed turnips will do just as well.
