This blend, with two of the region’s native grapes, Braucol and Duras, along with Syrah and Merlot, is all southern French sunshine with a touch of the countryside. Rustic, but full-fruited, with lots of plum and cherry flavor and a whiff of earth, it's a great table wine that will accompany many styles of cuisine. SUNNY RUSTIC HERBAL FULL-FRUITED EARTHY
A fabulous countryside wine like this will do well with earthier preparations such as a mushroom risotto, duck breast with a cherry reduction, or a classic Coq au Vin.
